THUNDER BAY -- A suspect remains at large after robbing two city hotels.

A media release issued by the Thunder Bay Police Service said a man brandishing pepper spray entered two different hotels in different areas of the city early Saturday morning before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of money.

At about 2:30 a.m. the suspect entered the Comfort Inn on Arthur Street and demanded money. He fled on foot.

Nearly an hour later police say the same suspect arrived at the Holiday Inn Express on Carrick Street and again demanded money from staff.

Nobody at either hotel was injured.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, about 5'8" tall and weighing 180 pounds. He was wearing a hooded sweater and ski goggles.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
