Social media saves the day
Early this morning, a concerned citizen called police after he found a dog that was wondering the streets alone.
Officers were able to return the dog to its owner after searching "Facebook-Thunder Bay Lost Pets or Found pets".
The owner was extremely grateful to be reunited with her dog.
This is just another example how policing has changed and social media is being used to assist in our investigations and helping citizens.
