Police week kicks off at Intercity Shopping Centre

THUNDER BAY - The Thunder Bay Police Service will be starting off Police Week a day early to be able to connect with shoppers at Intercity Shopping Centre on Saturday, May 14, 2016.

THUNDER BAY - The Thunder Bay Police Service will be starting off Police Week a day early to be able to connect with shoppers at Intercity Shopping Centre on Saturday, May 14, 2016.

Booths will be set up in the mall to provide information to the public on:
1. Distracted Driving
2. Pedestrian Road Safety
3. Elder Abuse
4. Fraud
5. Zone Watch

A Can-Am Police-Fire Games booth will also be set up for volunteers to sign up to help out when the Games are held in Thunder Bay from July 16 to 24, 2016.

The public and the media are welcome to come down to speak to the officers and the Zone Watch Citizens who will be providing information and running interactive displays form 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
