THUNDER BAY -- The city’s police force is done collecting data for its 2014 citizen survey.

The Thunder Bay Police Service began collecting data online for its 2014 citizen survey in November. The goal of the survey was to give Thunder Bay and Oliver Paipoonge residents a chance to tell police how they were doing.

The survey collected more than 1,400 responses.

Police spokesman Chris Adams on Thursday told TBT News that the survey collected about 300 more submissions than it did in 2013.

The results will be made available to the public when the police service releases its annual report next summer.

Adams said the police service will use the information from the survey to develop a new business plan.
