THUNDER BAY — A section of River Street will be narrowed to two lanes on Wednesday, Aug. 21, to allow for the completion of sewer and water repairs.
The two eastbound lanes of River Street will be closed at Pine Street beginning at 6 a.m.
The westbound lanes will be split to accommodate two-way traffic.
Access to Pine Street from River Street will be closed. Pine Street can be accessed from the next block south on Dawson Street via Madeline Street or North Hill Street.
The work is expected to be completed by Wednesday evening.
Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays in the area and are reminded to exercise caution in construction zones.
