FORT FRANCES – Police have charged a 39-year-old man with possession of child pornography.
Ontario Provincial Police Crime Unit with assistance from the OPP Digital Forensics Unit, OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit and the Treaty Three Police Service wrapped up an investigation on Wednesday into the alleged possession of child pornography.
The investigation involved the analysis of an electronic device and led to the discovery of multiple child sexual abuse material files.
As a result of the investigation, Bryan Bruyere, 39, of the Rainy River District has been arrested and charged with possession of child pornography.
Their first appearance in the Ontario Court of Justice is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 19.
