High school students and mature learners alike were at Confederation College Wednesday for the school’s open house.
The college played host to more 400 interested and potential future students, as tours of the various programs and services took place. Students in the Media Arts program got to demonstrate the various skills and equipment that they have been working with throughout the year, and there were booths providing additional information. Open house coordinator Shari Mackenzie, said the event is a great way for potential students to get more information about a program they may be interested in.
A Key Performance Indicator study done last year reported that Confederation College is number one in graduate employment within Ontario with over 90 percent of students finding work within six months of graduating.
