According the premier of Ontario’s website, Thunder Bay-Atikokan MPP Bill Mauro has a new role to play.
Snubbed once again for a cabinet seat, it appears Mauro has been named a parliamentary assistant to the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing.
Mauro, first elected on the Liberal ticket in 2003, is one of 20 parliamentary secretaries named by Premier Kathleen Wynne. He previously served as parliamentary assistant to the ministers of Northern Development and Mines and government service.
Mauro has also a member of the jobs and economic policy committee, alongside fellow Thunder Bay MPP and Minister of Northern Development and Mines Michael Gravelle.
Gravelle is also part of the health, education and social policy committee.
