Prices at local gas bars continue to fall

THUNDER BAY – Gas prices continue to drop in this city, with most stations now selling fuel below 90-cents-a-litre.

According to online gas price watchdog ontariogasprices.com, the cheapest price for regular gasoline in Thunder Bay was at the Super Store and the Husky on Highway 11-17 near Highway 130. Both of those gas bars had prices of 88.9-cents-a-litre as of Friday morning.

The most expensive prices listed as of Friday morning were nearly 10 cents-a-litre above that. The Can-Op on Johns Street Road and Woodcrest Road had its price listed at 97.9 cents.

Meanwhile, at neighbouring Fort William First Nations, K&A Variety featured one of the province’s lowest pump prices at 72 cents.
