THUNDER BAY -- The area’s public school board has a new chair.
At the inaugural meeting of the new Lakehead Public Schools board trustees Tuesday night, Jack Playford was elected as the new chair.
George Saarinen will serve as the public school board’s vice-chair.
During the previous term the board was led by chair Deb Massaro and Karen Wilson.
