Rain to exit, snow to enter for Thunder Bay

THUNDER BAY – The good news is that this city should see an end to the rainfall Monday evening. The bad news is we may be seeing some snow.

THUNDER BAY – The good news is that this city should see an end to the rainfall Monday evening. The bad news is we may be seeing some snow.

According to Environment Canada's short-range forecast  periods of rain are expected to persist Monday, with an expected high reaching 6C.

The rain is expected to change to snow overnight, where a -1C low is projected.

The snow should end Tuesday evening, but not before potentially dropping between two to four centimetres. Temperatures are expected to hold steady at zero.

The news doesn’t get much better Wednesday, where a mix of sun and cloud will be accompanied by a 40 per cent chance of flurries.

Wednesday’s high is expected to reach 2C, while the low will dip to -5C.
