One of the people listed on the RCMP's most wanted list has been arrested in the city.
Police issued an alert last month that warned residents about 46-year-old Paul Douglas Gallagher who may have been in the Thunder Bay area. Police say Gallagher was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for a parole violation.
He has an extensive history of fraud related offences and is also known to have ties to organized crime.
Members of the RCMP's Thunder Bay detachment spotted Gallagher Wednesday leaving a city residence and took him into custody without incident.
He remains in custody at the Thunder Bay district jail
