Reports of stolen election signs come only days after writ drops

Only five days into the campaign, election signs are already missing. Thunder Bay-Superior North Green candidate Bruce Hyer said ten of his largest signs have been stolen on highways between Dorion and Nipigon and Nipigon and Geraldton.

Only five days into the campaign, election signs are already missing.

Thunder Bay-Superior North Green candidate Bruce Hyer said ten of his largest signs have been stolen on highways between Dorion and Nipigon and Nipigon and Geraldton.

"Not vandalized, not defaced not knocked down but stolen and taken away," he said. "That's discouraging."

Hyer said he's filed a police report and is offering a cash reward for arrests that lead to conviction.
