A stretch of Strathcona Avenue will close to through traffic on Wednesday, the city announced recently.
The section of Strathcona, from Hodder Avenue to Spruce River Road, will be closed to through traffic from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. while work continues on asphalt restoration.
Travel on Strathcona Avenue in both directions will be restricted to local access for residents only.
City officials say the closure is necessary for asphalt restoration work due to water main repairs.
Motirsts are being asked to follow posted detour routes or to plan an alternate route.
