City of Thunder Bay media update
September 1, 2016 – Work that will close Simpson Street between Robertson Street and Pacific Avenue is scheduled to start on Tuesday, Sept. 6 for sanitary sewer replacement and pavement resurfacing.
The work will last for an estimated seven weeks.
A detour along McKenzie and Robertson Street will be posted to route motorists around the area of construction.
The construction schedule is subject to change, as various factors – such as weather – can have impact on project timelines.
Drivers travelling in the area are asked to use extra caution and obey all posted signage.
