Rural health fair features variety of exhibits
The second annual Rural Health Fair is now underway at the NorWest Recreation Centre.
Visitors were greeted by more than 80 booths, food vendors, and demonstrations. There were exhibits from all walks of health care.
Local vendors were also on hand with fresh preserves, breads, and everything else in between.
Demonstrations from local yoga teachers brought laughs to many.
Blood pressure, and blood sugar tests were readily available. The main reason behind the fair is to raise awareness amongst the rural community about what health services are available.
The Rural Health Fair continues until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the NorWest Rec Centre in Stanley.
