No one was injured after a sailboat flipped over on Wednesday night.
Just before 7 p.m. Thunder Bay firefighters and the coast guard were called out to Lake Superior to assist the passengers on a boat that had flipped over near the lighthouse that guards Thunder Bay Harbour.
A couple of passengers were thrown overboard and some nearby sailboats attempted to rescue them.
The coast guard and firefighters were able to get the all of the passengers ashore safely. There's no word on the status of the sailboat.
