There were no injuries following a morning collision between a school bus and another vehicle on the city’s north side.

Thunder Bay Police Service officers say the collision happened just after 8 a.m. on Monday near the intersection of Algoma and River streets. A school bus had stopped when an SUV collided with it from behind, police say. The SUV sustained enough damage that it warrant it being towed, but police say the bus was able to drive away.

Police charged a 69-year-old-man with careless driving in connection to the incident.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
