THUNDER BAY -- Rural public schools are closed and school bus transportation has been canceled for Wednesday morning.
Overnight snowfall has led to the cancellation of several rural Lakehead Public schools, and the cancellation of school bus services. The cancelled bus services are for both rural and urban routes, and for morning and afternoon services.
The following schools are closed:
- Crestview
- Five Mile
- Whitefish Valley
- Valley Central, Mckenzie
- Nor-Wester View
- Gorham and Ware
- Kakabeka Falls
