SCHREIBER, Ont -- A 19-year-old man faces several child pornography related charges following an incident in this Northwestern Ontario community last weekend.
According to the OPP, a 16-year-old was taken to a Schreiber hotel, recorded and that recording was then uploaded to a social media site.
The accused in the case, who's name is being withheld to protect the identity of the victim, will next appear in court on April 25.
Police say the offensive material has now been removed from the site and can no longer be directly accessed.
However, police say there is the possibility the video may have already been shared with others.
Police are warning that viewing such sexually explicit material is a crime.
