KENORA – Kenora residents will have the chance to get hands-on with science this week, as Science North brings its Mini SciFest to the community.
The three-day festival, running from Sept. 30 to Oct. 2, includes activities for all ages, from fossil finds to trivia nights.
The organization’s bluecoats will be on hand offering demonstrations at the Matiowski Farmers’ Market on Wednesday.
Later that evening, residents can participate in Brain Tap at the Lake of the Woods Brewery taproom, featuring science speakers, experiments, and a touch of trivia.
Events later in the week include a fossil find at the Douglas Family Art Centre, a science trivia night with Kenora’s with Young Professionals Network at Bob’s Burger Bar, and activities at the Lake of the Woods Discovery Centre.
