Scratch ticket earns local resident $50K

For the second time this week, a local resident has picked up a $50,000 cheque at the OLG's Toronto Prize Centre. Joseph Veltri, 53, won his prize after purchasing an Instant Keno scratch ticket.

For the second time this week, a local resident has picked up a $50,000 cheque at the OLG's Toronto Prize Centre. 

Joseph Veltri, 53, won his prize after purchasing an Instant Keno scratch ticket. 

Veltri said he'll be using the windfall to purchase a new vehicle. 

Jeffrey Russell, also of Thunder Bay, won the same amount playing another of the Lottery Corporation's instant lottery games.
