Scratch ticket nets Thunder Bay man $50K

A Thunder Bay resident recently scratched themself a $50,000 jackpot. Terry Nishnibata, of Thunder Bay, won the $50,000 jackpot from an instant Crossword ticket. Some of the words that led to the win included pan, cook, apricot and zucchini.

Terry Nishnibata, of Thunder Bay, won the $50,000 jackpot from an instant Crossword ticket. Some of the words that led to the win included pan, cook, apricot and zucchini.

“I’m a pretty low key person and don’t get excited that easily, so I’m taking it step by step for now,” Nishnibata is quoted as saying in an OLG news release issued Monday.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Good Luck Lottery Shop on Arthur Street.
