Second Thunder Bay 50/50 early bird draw goes Friday

THUNDER BAY – There’s still two weeks and a day to go until the third Thunder Bay 50/50 jackpot is awarded, but one lucky ticket buyer will be $1,000 richer on Friday.

The second of two early-bird draws is scheduled to be held at week’s end.

The current jackpot stands at $368,510.

The first jackpot, drawn in February, was $965,715, while the second, drawn in March, was $664,885.

Hugette Pare took home the first early bird prize in the April draw, winning $1,000.

Tickets are $10 for five numbers, $20 for 30 numbers and $50 for 150 numbers and are available online only at www.thunderbay5050.ca.

Ticket buyers must be in Ontario at the time of purchase.

The jackpot draw is scheduled for April 30. Ticket sales end at 11:59 p.m. on April 29.
