Second suspect arrested in Whitefish Bay First Nation death

A second arrest has been made in connection with a recent homicide at Whitefish Bay First Nation.

Treaty 3 Police Service with the assistance of the OPP, have taken a 14-year-old male into custody in relation to the July 22 death of 61-year-old Charles Minshall.

A 16-year-old was charged last week with first-degree murder in the case.

Neither suspect can be named under the terms of the Youth Canada Justice Act."

The 14-year-old is expected to appear in court on Tuesday in Kenora.

Police say the murder investigation continues and anyone with information is asked to phone the T3PS Crime Unit at 807-548-5474 or the OPP Communication Centre at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-7477.
