LAPPE -- A section of Highway 589 in Lappe has reopened following a collision on Saturday afternoon.
According to Ontario 511, the crash occurred just before 7 p.m., resulting in the highway, being shut down in both directions.
There is no indication as to any injuries that may have occurred in the collision, which closed the highway for nearly five hours.
The closure was between Moving Post Road and Old Hall Road.
