THUNDER BAY – A section of Paquette Road and Toms Road will be closed to through traffic on Thursday due to cross-culvert repairs.
Paquette Road and Toms Road will be closed between the intersection of Alice Avenue and Paquette Road, and Granite Road. Local traffic will be permitted up to 1027 Toms Road. Work is expected to be completed by end of day on Oct. 5.
Traffic coming from John Street Road, heading north on Toms Road will only go up to Granite Road and cross over to Community Hall Road. Traffic access from the paved portion of Paquette Road and Alice Avenue can use Government Road to travel to Community Hall Road to proceed through to John Street Road.
Detour signs will be posted. Motorists are asked to use extra caution and obey all posted signage when travelling near the construction area.
