THUNDER BAY - The City of Thunder Bay is under a severe thunderstorm watch, according to Environment Canada.
Strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain could result. Intense lightning has already arrived in the city.
The Office of the Fire Marshal and Emergency Management recommends that you take cover immediately if threatening weather approaches.
Environment Canada also issued a thunderstorm warning on Friday night.
Other communities affected include Beardmore, Macdiarmid, Nipigon, Dorion and Lappe.
