THUNDER BAY -- There's been another delay in the trial of two former University of Ottawa hockey players accused of sexual assault in Thunder Bay.

David Foucher, 28, and Guillaume Donovan, 27, were charged in 2014.

The pair are accused of sexually assaulting a 21-year old woman at a Thunder Bay hotel in February of that year, after a hockey game played against the Lakehead Thunderwolves.

The trial was originally scheduled to begin at the Thunder Bay Courthouse last summer, but the case was delayed a full year and was supposed to get underway later this month.

Now, the trial has been pushed back until February.

The Crown said both delays were due to personal issues with one of the defence lawyers.
