OPP Media Update
(THUNDER BAY, ON) On Monday, January 18, 2016 at approximately 12:55 pm, officers from Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a vehicle that had entered the ditch on Highway 11 in Shebandowan.
An officer attended the scene and determined the driver had been consuming alcohol, the driver was transported to Thunder Bay Detachment for further tests.
As a result of the investigation, a 55-year--old Shebandowan, Ont. woman was arrested and charged with Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle with Over 80 mgs of Alcohol contrary to the Criminal Code.
She is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Thunder Bay on February 26, 2016 to answer to the charge.
