THUNDER BAY -- Over the weekend the Thunderwolves defeated rival Western Mustangs in a shootout that has become the talk of hockey across the country.
Grant Valiquette found himself in the spotlight after lifting the puck in the air and batting it home Friday night for the winning goal of the shootout. That dramatic play, which you can see in the highlight package posted above, is what has led to the national attention.
