Shuniah Street gas bar robbed

The Beaver Gas Bar on Shuniah Street was robbed early Sunday morning. Thieves, who fled in a dark-coloured pick-up truck, forced their way through the front door of the store and made off with an undisclosed quantity of cigarettes.

The Beaver Gas Bar on Shuniah Street was robbed early Sunday morning.

Thieves, who fled in a dark-coloured pick-up truck, forced their way through the front door of the store and made off with an undisclosed quantity of cigarettes.

Police arrived on scene, but not before the thieves got away. The investigation continues and police ask anyone with information to contact them at 684-1200 or Crime Stoppers at 623-8477.
