Sioux Lookout man busted for selling alcohol to minors

A Sioux Lookout man has been charged with selling alcohol to minors for the second time in 10 days.

A Sioux Lookout man has been charged with selling alcohol to minors for the second time in 10 days.

Officers arrested the 39-year-old on Friday afternoon after he made a purchase from the Sioux Lookout LCBO location and then was observed selling it to minors behind the store.

When apprehended, the man told police the alcohol was stolen from him.

He has been charged with making false statements to police, unlawfully selling liquor contrary to the Liquor License Act and public mischief. He had also been previously charged with unlawfully selling alcohol after an incident more than a week before.

He is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
