SIOUX LOOKOUT, Ont. -- Police have seized marijuana and morphine from a home in this northern Ontario community.

OPP officials say Sioux Lookout detachment officers, along with the Northwest region crime unit and Northwest region K9 unit, searched a Fuller Street home.

From that search officers found marijuana, morphine and a large amount of cash.

Police did not reveal the quantity of drugs or cash seized, but confirmed that 61-year-old Laurier Taphorn of  Sioux Lookout had been arrested and charged as a result of the find.
