SIOUX LOOKOUT — Two people are facing drug-related charges following the execution of a drug search warrant at a residence in the municipality of Sioux Lookout on Monday.
Sioux Lookout Ontario Provincial Police along with the OPP Emergency Response Team located and seized several drugs from a residence on Seventh Avenue on Monday, Dec. 14.
Police seized cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, crack cocaine, hydromorphone and morphine. $10,000 in cash and drug-trafficking paraphernalia was also seized by police.
Richard Jorgensen, 57 and Doreen Spence, 49, both from Sioux Lookout were charged with the following offences:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking - Methamphetamine
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking - Cocaine
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking - Crack Cocaine
- Possession of Hydromorphone
- Possession of Psilocybin
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
Jorgenson also faces an additional charge for failing to comply with a release order. He is being held in custody and is scheduled to appear in bail court on Friday, Dec. 18 in Sioux Lookout.
Spence was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court next on Jan. 26, 2021.
