SIOUX LOOKOUT — Sioux Lookout Ontario Provincial Police are investigating the death of a 34-year-old individual.
Police say they were dispatched on March 20 at around 12:30 p.m. to assist Northwest EMS at an apartment complex on Millar Crescent in Sioux Lookout, according to a news release issued on Wednesday.
Officers located Armant Beardy, 34, who was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The victim later died as a result of their injuries, police say.
Officers continue their investigation and advise there is no current threat to public safety at this time.
