Police in Sioux Lookout arrested two men and a woman after a military rifle was seized.
Officers with the Northwest regional guns and gangs unit, along with Sioux Lookout detachment OPP members, finished a lengthy weapons investigation on Monday, April 4.
Police say officers seized a military style SKS rifle along with a prohibited device for the firearm.
As a result of that seizure, police say they arrested two men from the Sioux Lookout area and a woman from Big Trout Lake.
All three suspects were arrested and charged with several firearms related offences, including firearms trafficking.
All three suspects were released and will appear in court at a later date.
