Sisters have been charged with robbery after an attack on the city’s South side.
The three sisters, all in their 30s, were in court Saturday morning after a 22-year-old woman was attacked and robbed near Brodie Street and Bethune Street around 4:05 a.m. Saturday. Her purse, wallet and running shoes were taken at the time of the attack. She suffered head and facial injuries.
A police officer saw the three sisters shortly after the attack on Brodie Street and Victoria Avenue. One sister had the victim’s running shoes on while another had the purse and wallet.
The 36,35 and 38-year-old sisters have been remanded to court on Monday.
