Sixteen per cent of area employers to add staff in New Year: Survey

A new survey assembled by the Manpower Group shows that most employers  - more than 80 per cent - are not expecting to make any cuts between January and March.

The survey shows that about 16 per cent of employers plan to hire more staff in the first quarter of 2015, while 71 per cent say they don’t expect any changes during that time.

Another seven per cent surveyed said they weren’t certain what their hiring intentions would be in the New Year.
