THUNDER BAY - Sleeping Giant Brewing Company is celebrating all of its amazing Licensees with the introduction of the Craft Cares movement. From Jan.1 until Valentine’s Day, for every Sleeping Giant Brewing Company product sold at licensee locations, $0.50 will be donated to local charities and organizations.
“Now there’s a way your beer can benefit the entire community. Sleeping Giant Brewing Company thinks that being a part Thunder Bay is pretty awesome, so we want to give back and contribute to the fine organizations and charities that make the North a better place to live. We want to show you that Craft Cares,” said Sleeping Giant Brewing Company Co-owner, Matt Pearson.
Each participating licensee was provided with the opportunity to participate in Craft Cares by signing up and selecting a local charity of their choice. At the end of February, Sleeping Giant Brewing Company will announce the grand total of funding raised through Craft Cares and the Thunder Bay charities that will benefit from the initiative.
“Sleeping Giant Brewing Company loves working in Thunder Bay and we want to continue to give back to our community that has given us so much support,” explained Sleeping Giant Brewing Company CEO and Co-founder, Andrea Mulligan. “Through Craft Cares our team is helping our Licensees make a positive impact with the charities and organizations that they care about, giving back, one beer at a time.”
Sleeping Giant Brewing Company has over 80 licensees in Thunder Bay and has been operating in the community since 2012.
“With the goodwill vibes from the holiday season and New Year’s resolutions, it’s a great time to focus on how we can all support some important causes just by drinking our delicious beer. Craft Cares connects craft beer and the community, making us feel all that we are doing our part to show our pride and appreciation for our community,” continued Mulligan.
