Small fire extinguished on Simpson Street

Several crews respond to afternoon incident.

THUNDER BAY – A small fire at a Simpson Street address was quickly brought under control on Thursday afternoon.

Five crews responded to the small blaze, which apparently started in a stove inside the property in the 300 block of the south side street.

Portions of Simpson street were reduced to a single lane for the duration of the incident.
