THUNDER BAY -- Twenty-one fire fighters were dispatched to attend an Oliver Road house fire on Tuesday afternoon.

Thunder Bay Fire Rescue Service were called to the residence at 5 p.m., when they were notified the home-owner's smoker had tipped over and caused a wooden deck to catch fire. The fire then spread to the siding of the home.

An attack line was used to knock down the fire as there were no hydrants in the area.

Five pumpers, an aerial ladder, and a water tanker were used. Damage to the structure is considered medium.

Fire officials say no injuries occurred.
