THUNDER BAY -- Firefighters continue to investigate the cause of an early morning house fire on the city’s north side.
Firefighters and emergency crews responded to reports of a back door on fire on South Empress Street at about 4:30 a.m.
No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
While investigators are still looking into the cause of the fire, officials suspect smoking materials are to blame.
