THUNDER BAY – Despite recent mild temperatures, the city could find itself underneath 15 cenitmetres of snow Wednesday.
According to Environment Canada, the Thunder Bay area will see a mix of snow and ice pellets Tuesday night into Wednesday.
The accumulation of ice pellets and snow is expected to be between 10 to 15 centimetres.
Despite the estimated accumulation a daytime high of 1 C Wednesday means there could be some rain in the mix as well.
Periods of snow are expected Wednesday night, followed by a 40 per cent chance of flurries.
After that mild temperatures return with a high of 4 C on Thursday, but nighttime lows near -10 C.
