Airports in Fort Frances and Thunder Bay will likely see more aircraft landings now that some smaller airports have decided to suspend seasonal Canada Customs services.

Dryden, Red Lake, and Sioux Lookout airports have opted to discontinue the service due to escalating staffing costs.

That leaves Fort Frances and Thunder Bay as the only regional airports providing year-round customs inspection services.

Kenora will continue its services on a seasonal basis, between May and October.
