THUNDER BAY — The death of a male found in a south-side home over the weekend is being investigated as a homicide.
Emergency services were called to a residential address in the 300 block of Ogden Street on Sunday afternoon after receiving reports that a body had been found, Thunder Bay police said in a Monday morning news release.
Paramedics and firefighters had also been called to the scene, but were cancelled after arriving police officers confirmed the individual was deceased.
The police service's major crimes and forensic identification units are involved in the investigation.
A police presence remains in the area.
No further details have been made available.
