THUNDER BAY – The Badanai Young Company senior class and Paramount Live are kicking off its production of The SpongeBob Musical starting today.
The show runs until Saturday at the Paramount Theatre with nightly performances at 7 p.m.
This energetic and imaginative musical follows SpongeBob, Patrick, Sandy, and the rest of Bikini Bottom as they race to save their undersea home from an impending volcanic disaster. With themes of friendship, optimism, and courage, the show promises fun for audiences of all ages.
The production also features the music of artists like David Bowie, Cyndi Lauper, Sara Bareilles, and Panic! At The Disco.
The show it is based on the animated series created by Stephen Hillenburg.
Tickets are $22.63 each and can be purchased through Paramount Live.
The SpongeBob Musical is the first production in Paramount Live’s spring lineup, with The Lion King Kids, The Little Mermaid JR., and Theatre Babies: What’s Cooking scheduled for June.
