An electrical problem closed St. Patrick High School on Wednesday.

School officials sent buses to pick students up at lunchtime.

According to a release sent out Wednesday by the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board, one of three electrical lines into the school appears to have blown.

“We’ve shut down the two working lines to allow electricians to work on the problem,” said principal Francis Veneruz.

The school opened as scheduled on Thursday morning.
