THUNDER BAY – The latest threat directed at St. Patrick High School has resulted in the school's evacuation and closure Friday morning.
The Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board issued the notice just after 9:30 a.m. Friday morning that another threat had been directed at the school.
The Thunder Bay Police Service were notified and the school had been placed on lockdown. A second update was issued just before 10 a.m. advising that police are on scene and it has been decided to evacuate the school.
Buses will be dispatched to the school to take students home. Students with mobile phones are advised to contact parents or guardians for pickup.
Arrangements will be made later for students to pickup personal belongings from the school.
The high school has been dealing with numerous threats in recent weeks, resulting in lockdowns and the closures.
Arrests have been made in connection to some of the threats, including an arrest earlier in the week.
Investigation into other threats against the school remains ongoing.
