FORT FRANCES, Ont. -- A state of emergency has been declared in this Northwestern Ontario town.

High volumes of rain received throughout the last 24-hours have over-taxed the town’s sewer and water systems.

Town officials say they have received so much rain, there's nowhere for the water to go.

The adjacent Couchiching First Nation, which shares the system, is also affected.
